Sat 13th October 2007 by tkey 1 Comment

Meg took part in the Liverpool Feis this afternoon.
Once again she was superb and had a great time.

She has now moved up to intermediate class
for 3 of her 4 dances and a much higher standard of competition.
she came a very creditable 5th in all 3 dances.

In her Trophy dance she once again came 3rd.

She has now decided that my cows will have to give way for her trophys

Well done Meg i thought you were oustanding today,
i am very proud of you
xxxxx
(p.s. you leave my cows alone lol )

you can find it here

Petty tactics in the hope to ruin the results?
so that people would watch strictly come dancing instead.

Man Flu

Wed 26th September 2007 by tkey 1 Comment

‘Man flu’ really exists

‘Man flu’ – the psychological condition by which men claim to suffer more
from colds than women – really exists, according to a new poll.

Males take more time off work than women with colds they think are flu,
reports the Daily Mirror.

They also moan more, fork out more on remedies and 82%
stay in bed until they feel better.

The survey of 2,000 people found 64% of men thought they had flu
and took a day off compared with 45% of women.

The poll for Nuts magazine found men take three days to recover
and women half that time.
November is said to be the worst month for ‘man flu’ – with one in six suffering.

And i have it……….
now leave me alone i’m dying !

Highlights included (in no particular order)

Bathroom door with a letter box
Backfiring ambulance
Finding a hotel in liverpool
Scuba diving with sharks

What a night.

Fri 21st September 2007 by tkey Leave a Comment

Travellers,burglars,police.

oh no there’s a big log in the way…..on we go then

Travellers decided to “camp” on the playing field opposite last night.
In a millitary style operation they came one by one.
They just pushed the huge log blocking their path aside like it
was balsa wood (nice one council that worked, not! )
Blocking the road ,causing chaos ,police too busy to attend.

Then 1 of the neighbours (we were all out by this time) declared “thats it come on”
and marched onto the field (by now around 40 caravans were there)

He walked straight upto the biggest ‘traveller’ he could find,
tapped him on the shoulder and said with a smile
“alright mate? you have 1 hour to shift your s****
or we firebomb every last 1 of you.”

10 minutes later the field was clear !!!!!!!!!!!!

10pm everything back to normal,
1am woken by loud noise,
man in our back garden,he then jumps into next doors garden
and tries to break into their shed.
Kim is on the phone to the police,i threw on some pants,
then tried to see where he was,
looked out of window to see this idiot casually walk back down our drive,
cross the road and then stand there!
So out i went just as the police were arriving, lights off nice and quiet
(no more than 90 seconds response time is that a record ?!)
man starts running down the street,
Police car chases him ,stops, hears me shout “thats your man” policeman shouts back “huh? what? who? where?”
and bloody loose him !!!!!!!

I wake next door up and we check everthing is secure,
then notice he has ripped the side of next doors garage off!

building work for insomnics…….just do it quietly!

Turns out these ‘travellers’ had decided a school playing field about 1/2 mile away
was cosy enough for the night and were already making sure
the police had little time for do-nuts.

Tony Blairs Britain !!!!!
oh wait he’s gone…….. then why is the country still crap?
