Welcome Home Endeavour

Endeavour returns to earth for the final time at KSC in florida.

After 248 orbits around Earth and a journey of 6,510,221 miles.
Endeavour landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
The STS-134 mission was the 25th and final flight for Endeavour, which spent a total of 299 days in space,
orbited Earth 4,671 times and traveled 122,883,151 miles.

Doomed Moon of Mars

Mars, named for the Roman god of war, has two tiny moons–Phobos and Deimos–whose names are derived from the Greek for fear and panic.

These Martian moons may well be captured asteroids originating in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter or perhaps from even more distant reaches of the solar system.
