CSL-Sofas/Furniture – DO NOT USE!
Still need convincing not to use CSL Furniture ,Sofa Specialist,
Dream Sofas ,or whateva they are calling themselves this week?
This is the latest comment Tkey has received from an ex-worker.
“i used to work for csl, and would like to add that really
old stock that they cant get rid of
is cleaned up and shipped out to customers as new.
Even crap grotty suites that have been in the stores for months even years
are taken back to the head office cleaned up and sent out.
hope this helps no-one buy from the worst firm ever.
even the delivery teams are treated badly,
they start at 7:45 and aren’t aware when they will finish
all for 50 pound a day plus 2.50 per drop.
even the drop money is taken away when they feel like it.
if u do buy from csl please believe what the drivers say and not the company ”
Tkey says:- Remember folks you have a choice.
“please DO NOT choose this company!!”
(This company is still using the easter advert on tv for griefs sake !)

We paid £1800 in cash for a three piece leather suite on 26th August 2007.
Arrived on 31st August in appauling condition, clearly been used it was worn on the arms and sagging on the seats, dull and dusty and torn on the underside. The ticket underneath was dated March 2006.
Requested immediate refund. Now 10th September and they can’t even ring back. Was told the person who mails cheques is on holiday!
They said the wrong one had been sent out to us and they will reorder one but it would take 3 months. No Thanks!
Now have no settee and chairs and no money to buy from elsewhere. No one has explained why they sent such rubbish and we have had no apology worth mentioning from anyone who’s fault it actually was, as it appears to have been noones at all.
Even the delivery driver said he wouldn’t buy anything from CSL

We bought £2000 leather suite from CSL (3 years ago now)
after 10 months the coating started to peal off, after many phone calls and much complaining
they came to take it away for repair, yes thats right repair it after 10 months of use,
they even had the balls to tell us it was wear and tear.
When it was returned after a cpl of weeks it was worse than when it went away
so we refused to accept it, the drivers called their office
to say what we were intending and they agreed to take it back.
A cpl of weeks later it was returned again and again it was no better
there were already cracks in the new coating they had applied
and the solitary chair which had just been sent back for a colour match had also been painted
although to keep this one different from the rest it was painted by hand
and the brush marks are still there now.
Again we refused it and the drivers took it away,
after a few days we got a call from yet another different person at CSL
to say that our suite was being returned and if we did not accept it then (we would not see it again)
on advice from trading standards we unwillingly took it back
another year on we still have the same piece of s— in our living room
and it is now left to us to prove it is not wear and tear.
we think it is bloody obvious it isnt wear and tear,
if anyone out there can advise us on what to do next it would be much appreciated.
